Poker is one of the most popular card games in the world! Millions of people enjoy playing Poker not just because it is so much fun but also because Poker can make you quite a sum if you've got the right skills and of course, luck. It is also the most played gambling game because it greatly rewards the skilled player and gives him an advantage over the casino house because it is played against the players and the house has very little to interfere in Poker.
How did Poker came into existence?
Poker's history is a little vague regarding that there is no written proof of when the game came into existence. Experts believe the word "Poker" originated from the Irish word Poca meaning pocket or a similar word pochen from German or even from the Hindi word pukka. Joseph Crowell saw Poker being played in New Orleans in around 1829 while Jonathan Green mentioned in his book that Poker spread from the Mississippian boatmen who played poker as a classic pastime using 20 cards.
I've been playing poker for years now and there are little tricks that almost no one shares but this poker learning blog will teach you all the tricks of the trade.
